About The Home Consignment Center

A partnership was formed in 1994 when the Crowells, Christina and Johnny, and the Fondnazios, Jamece and John, opened the first Home Consignment Center store in Danville, California. The partnership, which came about as a result of Johnny’s time in the antique auto consignment business, has grown to a thriving company of seventeen locations in three states. In 1995 the chain also added consignment jewelry to their list of specialties.

While traditional consignment stores work by promising higher than reasonable prices to consigners followed by drastic price slashing, the Home Consignment Center operates differently. We price items fairly from the get go so our consigners and shoppers know they are always getting the best deal possible. We also break the mold by hiring employees that are dedicated to making each location a great place to shop while avoiding the typical commission setup that leads to high pressure selling with little to no interest in the customer’s needs.
